I was so fortunate to speak with Thamina Stoll this week. Thamina is a superstar in Big Tech, a gender equity advocate, a coach, an entrepreneur, host of Femme Hive, a podcast that helps young women make their way toward financial and professional success, and founder of Give Her Dollars, a platform for women to share knowledge about wealth-building and financial literacy.
There are so many incredible and inspirational moments in this conversation, but one of my favorite takeaways is that "imposter syndrome" is produced by systemic issues and institutionalized prejudices, so advocacy is one of the best ways to get the root of the problem.
And advocacy can look like a lot of things. In this episode, we discuss:
- Advocacy through financial literacy and knowledge sharing
- The importance and impact of women entrepreneurs, and how to embrace "radical independence" or entrepreneurship alongside work
- The ROI of gender equity advocacy and DEAI advocacy in the workplace
- Self-advocacy: when to hustle vs. when to rest
- What companies need to know about Gen Z & Millennial employees
and much more!
