Heiwi never imagined her unique upbringing would help prepare her to become the Executive Vice President of Member Relations at Associated Credit Union, a $2 billion financial institution that serves more than 154,000 members at 18 locations in Atlanta, Augusta, Carrollton, and Dawsonville. Between being raised by a mother who worked for the United Nations and attending a multicultural school with students of 60 different nationalities, Heiwi learned how to empower, lead, and understand people from all backgrounds and beliefs — a vital skill set for her current position that serves a diverse metropolitan area. Heiwi not only sets best practices and goals to achieve outstanding member service, but she also manages hundreds of employees, identifying those future leaders and investing in their growth. She knows that with hard work and encouragement, they can achieve more just like she has since she started as a branch service representative 23 years ago. Heiwi serves on the LSCU Foundation’s Community Spark Projects Advisory Council. Global Women's Leadership Network Sister Society member. Heiwi has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mercer University, a Master of Public Administration from Strayer University, and a graduation diploma from the Southeast CUNA Management School. She was recently awarded Professional of The Year for GA by the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates
