Brian Zempel is Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for Gatestone, North America’s most established business process outsourcing organization (BPO). Gatestone is a privately-held, partnership-focused global BPO with 16 locations handling all levels of contact center services such as customer care, collections, fraud, omni-channel servicing, sales, and back office business functions that are essential to organizations as they drive revenues, manage expenses, and deploy high-quality customer relationship management strategies.
Brian has a distinguished 35+ year career in financial services working for organizations such as HSBC, Bank of America, and Kohl’s Department Stores in executive capacities. Most recently Brian was President & CEO of CFNA- a wholly-owned subsidiary and credit card bank of Bridgestone Americas supporting their retail store footprints in the U.S. where he led the organization to record results and industry recognition over a 7-year tenure. Brian’s diverse background includes high-impact roles in operations, business & client development, marketing, credit risk analytics, business strategy, and finance. Throughout his career he has worked with retailers, banks, and various organizations that support the financial services and payments ecosystem.
Brian joined Gatestone in August, 2024 and is responsible for developing new partnerships and business programs for the organization. Brian has been a client of Gatestone for over a decade during his roles at both Kohl’s and CFNA, and is a member of the senior leadership team reporting under CEO Nicholas Wilson.
Brian received his MBA from DePaul University and his undergraduate degree in Finance from Texas Christian University (TCU). He holds a Six Sigma designation as a Master Black Belt and is active on several philanthropic board roles including Treasurer of Nashville Public Television. Brian is based in Nashville, Tennessee.
